LPCCI has incredible news to share this summer!

Thank you so much to those of you who prayed us through the enormous 9-month (5-dozen reams of paper!) project to become an authorized provider of Continuing Education Units for the International Association of Continuing Education Training.

These words below were sweet to our ears in late-May: "Congratulations, your application to become an IACET Authorized Provider has been approved by the Commission."

We want to pause and thank God for this enormous blessing - that we will be able to reach nurses, social workers, counselors, therapists, teachers, ministers, etc., as they help people discover and fulfill God's plan for their lives. What a humbling honor to impact lives in this way. It is a very historic moment for our ministry to open our IACET Division with the addition of our Dean of Acadmic Affairs, Kathryn McColskey, Ph.D., and our Registrar, Susan Singleton, JD. In addition, we are thrilled to announce that our first applicant was a female Methodist Minister!

If you know of any groups who typically need CEU's related to our curriculum, please email us about how we might be able to spread the word with them.

Hope you enjoy the June '08 E-Coaching Tips below.

Join us Sept 08 in Laguna Beach, CA for our Life Purpose Facilitator Training!

May God's abundance be evident to you this summer!

E-COACHING TIPS - JUNE O8

Ask your client or friend these leading questions and see where the conversation goes! We guarantee it will go deep and rich fast, so make sure you pray before you begin. And, remember to listen carefully.

What's right with your life?

What's wrong?

What's missing?

What are you afraid of?

Where's your leverage?
(i.e., time, money, passion, energy, ability, credentials, network, platform, spiritual giftedness, self-discipline, proven track record, support system, Hebrews 11 faith, etc.)

What's confusing?

What are you passionate about?

Dear Katie & All Who Worked So Hard!

FANTABULOUS news - Praise God! And why should I be surprised that there is already a first applicant to the IACET program? In fact, I am sure there will be more by the time this posts!

I'm looking forward to the first Level 1 class tomorrow night.
Until then,

Katie:
Congratulations on your well-earned accreditation with IACET. Knowing you, I have never had a single doubt about the quality and usefulness of LPCCI programs. Now that I am about to complete the Level I training, I know the program up close. It is as good or better than I imagined. I am thrilled with what God is doing through you and with your willingness to share your expertise as a professor for Rockbridge Seminary. -Sam Simmons

Dear Dr. Brazelton,
Thank you so much for the great work you are doing and for this latest accreditation. I am another female Methodist minister who will become a part of LPCCI! I am so excited about my phone conversation with you and my acceptance to the upcoming Level 1, 2, and 3 training.

God always does amazing things and when He does, it just knocks my socks off! This time it was first being led to a book about knowing God by name, then being led to "Character Makeover", and from there to the website and the LPC program.

I wrote a quote by George Elliot in the front of my book: "It's never too late to become the person you might have been." Go God!!

Blessings to you!

Congratulations again on such a wonderful accomplishment -- and to all those who worked tirelessly (Susan and Katherine!). What a stamp of credibility to your work and this ministry.

Also attached to this article was the coaching tips which I think are great.

I love the questions: what is going well in your life? What are you afraid of? Where is your leverage? I don't think people often choose to look at what they are afraid of (and how those things can provide stumbling blocks to them) OR where the leverage in their life is. We all have leverage, but don't often see it that way. I love these questions and think they will really produce some introspection!

Katie :-)

How excited I was for you when I read this. If anyone has ANY doubt that there is a GOD who sits on the throne - let them keep reading your blog and seeing the ministry moving forward. I think that it is obvious that it is because it is God's ministry - not yours :-)

I was so much hoping to be able to do the level 3 training in Laguna Beach with you - but had a conflict with the dates. I DO hope that you will offer level 3 training again. I want very much to train under you for that part of the process.

Blessings on you and your family.
