I find myself saying these things all the time...
It's not my business.

Katie, Thank you for the precious phone call tonight. One of my new favorite sayings is 'be a minister of hope'! Blessings to you, Kem
Kitie, I enjoyed your latest blog post. One of my favorite sayings is "It's a choice." The older I get the more I realize that everything we think, say, and do is a choice we make. I want to "Choose Life" as Deut. 30 talks about in v. 15-16 "I set before you today life and prosperity, death and destruction, For I command you today to love the LORD your God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commands, decrees and laws; then you will live and increase and the LORD your God will bless you in the land you are entering to possess...v.19 this day I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now CHOOSE LIFE, so that you and your children may live...
Victory belongs to the Lord(Prov. 21:31)

Hi, Katie! I am in the middle of my level 1 training and loving every minute of it! We spoke about me getting involved with LPCCI last March when you spoke at the annual women's conference at Calvary Baptist Church in Alexandria, Louisiana. Being a southern bred country girl, one of my favorite sayings is, "Cowgirl up!" Which is quite similar to "Just do it" - only with a bit of southern flair! Blessings to you, Rita Rollins.
Katie,
One of my favorite sayings comes from my husband. "life ain't always fair, so buck up and get with the program". Though it sounds a little harsh, its the best thing to jog me out of an unnecessary pity party. I hear Life Isn't Fair is also Bill Gate's top of the list.
Thanks for the fun blog to think about.
Hi Katie,
My most favourite saying is "God has THE plan!".
Hi Katie, here is a favorite saying of mine: "A sorrow that is shared is cut in half; a joy that is shared is doubled."...St. Aelred of Rievaulx.
Awesome blessings, Leila Rae
Katie, growing up in Texas with a houseful of brothers I learned that "sucess is sweet, but the secret to sucess is sweat." It's just that most times than not, it wasn't really sweet smelling around there because I had a lot of sucessful brothers. Ha!
Some of my favorite sayings:
"God is good"
"This is the day that the Lord hath made, let us rejoice and be glad in it."
"Whey yuh ah badda mi fah?!"
"Yuh noh easy!"
Hello Katie,
One of my favorite quotes is:
Where flowers bloom so does hope.
-Lady Bird Johnson
Thanks for your ministry!
Blessings,
Angela
One of my favourite sayings is "Life is an occasion, rise to it!" Another quote that I wrote down from the movie "Dan in Real Life" is "Love is not a feeling, it is an ability."
Katie, today I'm being a bit of a smart aleck. I live in Fargo ND, and the river is expected to crest in a couple days at about 42 feet. It is expected to be considerably worse than it was in '97, which was pretty bad. So my favorite saying for today is: "...Good Lord willing and the creek don't rise." because no matter what happens, like a bad flood, God still has His part, and His plan.
Katie, I have two favorite sayings.
The first one is, "this, too, shall pass". When I'm going through hard times, it is a comfort to me. When I'm on the mountain top, it is a reminder to me.
My other favorite saying is from my husband. When I enter a situation that is different than what I was expecting, he'll say, "Dorothy, you're not in Kansas anymore."
That reminds me that I need to set aside my plans and preconceived ideas and do what I need to do in order to adjust....this, too, shall pass!
Hello
I have many favorite quotes. These
are a few...
God is good.All the time.
Get ur done.
We can do no great things. Only small things with great love.
(Mother Teresa)
Be still and know that I am God.
(Psalm 46:10)
I am so excited to be starting training with LPCCI.
I have never blogged before.
Leaps of faith

Hi Katie,
I actually have two favorite sayings..
"When it pours HE REIGNS" and
"Take the first step of faith...you don't have to see the whole staircase just take the first step." - Martin Luther King Jr.
Abundant love,
Elizabeth
Hi Katie, Thank you again for your prayer, help and encouragement. My favorite sayings is
"God is able"
I am looking forward to the LPCCI training. I am trusting God to direct my steps and lead the way.....Many blessings, Karen Hankins
Katie, I have just been accepted to train as a coach and I am soooo very excited. I am with you never, never give up. Looking forward to this exciting adventure. Kitty LoVullo
Hi Katie, I too am a believer in never, never, give up! I am so encouraged by Abraham who hoped against all hope and went on to receive the promise. Kitty
After the wonderful on line experience for Level 1 last night, a new favorite saying for me is "Take a step!". PERIOD!!!!!! Thank you, Katie for your obedience to our Lord in following His plan for your life. So many of us are reaping because of it!!! May our Lord continue to bless and keep you, Kem
I love the saying "It's not where you've been, it's where you're going." I wish I knew who to give credit to.
Also I love the Lewis Carroll quote "I can't go back to yesterday - because I was a different person then."
God bless.
Carletha Ward
Inetersting article my favorite saying that I made up is "too much of a good thing is not a good thing". I will be training with Phyllis Alderman in the near future.
Rhonda Coblentz
Some of my favorite sayings from Michael Reynolds:
1. Remember to brush and floss.
2. It is what it is.
3. You can't fix stupid, but you can vote it out of office.
4. Cogito ergo sum.
5. He is risen; He is risen indeed.
Hi Katie!
I have a tie for first place in this area..."Take God Out Of The Box"...and "Pay Attention To Your Filter"...
Recently, my "filter" mantra earned me the head seat at the "filter" table according to my pastor! It has sort of turned into a joke at our church, as people have called me the "filter lady"!
Nonetheless, I'm a great advocate of "paying attention to our filter." All of the opportunities and challenges we experience in life must go through a "filter." That filter is our perspective and has the capacity to color (or discolor) everything that goes through it.
If we BELIEVE great things are possible, then even the greatest challenge becomes an opportunity. If we BELIEVE bad things will happen, then even the greatest blessing is viewed in a negative light. Fear totally clogs the filter and will paralyze Kingdom progress.
Thus, I've become a huge cheerleader for keeping our filter clean and in proper alignment with His word and His promises.
amazing the things we say!
Katie,
I love this idea. So neat to see other people's nuggets of wisdom.
Some of my favorites:
"I am not my husband's Holy Spirit." How can he hear God if I'm in the way?
"God's timing is always perfect, and never the same as mine." How many times has He saved us at the last minute, bringing glory to Himself?
"Don't think you have to be perfect. Trying to be perfect just makes trouble for yourself and everyone around you." My son with OCD tendencies hears this almost every day.
"His mercies are new every morning." (Taken from Lamentations 3:22-23) Thank God for his daily grace of starting fresh!
My favorite saying is -
"We are the sum of our choices".
It's the short hand version of this paragraph from Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis:
"...every time you make a choice you are turning the central part of you, the part of you that chooses, into something a little different from what it was before. And taking your life as a whole, with all your innumerable choices, all your life long you are slowly turning this central thing either into a heavenly creature or into a hellish creature; either a creature that is in harmony with God, and with other creatures, and with itself, or else into one that is in a state of war and hatred with God, and with its fellow creatures, and with itself. To be the one kind of creature is heaven: that is, it is joy and peace and knowledge and power. To be the other means madness, horror, idiocy, rage, impotence, and eternal loneliness. Each of us at each moment is progressing to the one state or the other."
I think of this often when I have simple choices to make like whether to be impatient while standing in line or whether to indulge myself in a bit of road rage. I think of it when I have big decisions to make about the course of my life. It helps me keep perspective on the importance of relying on the Lord each moment of everyday because I am in each of those moments creating the sum of who I am.
In that equation little things matter ... they all add up. Thankfully God's grace can miraculously use every choice for his good when we offer up our lives (poor choices and all) to him, but there is such joy in making the choices you know he has prescribed to multiply the impact and satisfaction of your life in him.
Dear Katie -
When I was younger a spiritual father once told me, "You can't take a person further than you (yourself) have gone." This wisdom always encouraged me to 'go first' in my own spiritual formation and my own healing/health so I could be an example to others. I want my message to flow out of my life and not be wisdom that I (myself) have never applied. Anne
Hello Katie,
One of my favorite sayings is actually a Bible verse, ' He has not given us a spirit of fear, but of love, and power and a sound mind.'
I also reallly like, 'don't say I can't, say I'll try'.
Blessings,
Nancy
Katieb,I have recently adopted the phrase "Pause, Pray, and Seek God's Direction" as a favorite saying. Lately I've had many decisions to make and this statement has proven to be the perfect plan for clarity.
A hundred years from now... it will not matter what my bank account was, the sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove... but the world may be different because I was important in the life of a child. -Kathy Davis
This helps me keep my priorities as a mother in line.
